Anyone seen this stuff before? It's like plastidip but it comes in gloss and applies/peels like a vinyl rather than just a layer of rubber. Seems pretty cool. Costs more than dip but still less than a vinyl wrap. Came up on one of my facebook ads and man im tempted.

They're calling it sprayable vinyl.

What do y'all think? Anyone have it? [ame=""]

Don't have it but seems kinda like the Pearls option that DYC has where it is more metallic and glossy. Not sure if the DYC option peels any better, but they have some amazing color combinations.

These do look neat, but I don't think it's really "one step" when you're using a can per wheel which means at least 6-7 layers per wheel (700 ml can vs Plastidips 400 ml can). Can pricing doesn't seem too bad when you compare it to something like the special colors (Chameleon for example) of Plastidip which are already at ~$12 per can and a smaller size.

I'm interested in seeing some results from forum guys!

Yes i definitely agree. I'm far from a stranger to DYC. I've dipped more things than i can count. I've used Plastidip gloss coat as well though im not a huge fan of the finish it leaves. This seems much more refined.

They say 4 base coats where there's little to no overlap, then 2-3 coats 50% overlap, then 3-4 coats of heavy 100% overlap.so total would be around 10 coats depending on how you did it. I'd imagine 1 can per rim would suffice but im not sure. and i agree $15 per can while being nearly 3x plasti dip, is probably not bad considering the "seemingly" perfect finish.

I've only dipped one set of wheels so far (imperfect results, but eh good enough for a first time) that I'll probably put on this car in January unless I get excited enough to do it earlier.

Depending on how the black I put on the wheels looks/lasts, I may try to grab some of the bronze after a while...should look good with my Lightning Blue.

I'm pretty convinced I'm going with burnt copper metallic dip for my rims for my magnetic car. That said now that i see this auto dip.... I just bought 4 cans of gloss black for my girlfriends escape. I'll report back once i Apply it.

Auto-flex is by dipyourcar.com... correlates with plastidip.
