Had the first SCCA event of the season yesterday and got to finally put the car through the paces and get a real feel for it at the limit. All I can say is WOW! This car is fantastic. Exceptionally balanced, transitions very nice for a big heavy car, and has fantastic exit grip and speed.

This car will wreck FS this year. Add some sticky rubber, crash bolts and we are ready to go. Boss 302's and the Camaro's wont stand a chance.

Here are two videos from the day. My last run, had I not hit the cone early on, would have been fast time of the day on PAX index. My 4th run was 8 tenths slower and put me 3rd on the day PAX indexed.

Gets me excited for auto-x! Any mods? Looks like a fair bit of body roll in the second video. What was the competition??

I'm afraid my mods may push me into some kind of unlimited class. I'm not familiar with SCCA classing so who knows. I just go for fun.

Bone stock. Body roll isn't bad at all, really. For a stock car I think the GT w/ PP is fairly stiff.

Here are links to PAX indexed results and individual class results.

Me. I was 4th with the ecoboost. I cone'd away my 3rd place on run #3. :(

Vids shortly. I'm editing.

Good driving. The more seat time we get in the car, the quicker we will keep getting.

I'm bringing along one of the CAMmers to ER next week (Paul got a 52.1). He's wondering about buying a 15 -- so I'm going to let him co'drive the eco and see how he likes it.

(I'll give him the 2nd "mykey" and program it to redline at 5200 rpm)

Nice runs. I ran mine this weekend as well (GT PP). I didn't do as well. Probably my best PAX results in quite awhile but my regular race car is underprepared for the class it runs in. My fastest runs were marred by cones so that hurt my PAX a bit too.

I like the handling balance. Car dances well, but I think it is a little softly suspended. But my frame of reference comes from a more stiffly sprung car. I'd like to see what it does with a square tire set up.

It is soft, but really, what car isn't stock? As I said earlier though, I don't feel that it is too soft, the body roll is pretty well under control.

After this year I will probably make a run at ESP and I think this car with coilovers and 315's all around will be a beast.
