So I popped the hood (very weird spot) and noticed that I already have the rear cowl brace and it's metal. Do you reckon that means the tower strut brace is simply bolt on?

No. The reason you add spacers or grind off a section on the rear of the strut tower brace is because it will fowl the K brace you see there.

Moobly - If you get/have the Aluminium Strut Brace like mine I would add spacers rather that grind as the aluminium brace is tubular for strength so would be weakened with grinding.

Hi Adrian. My Steeda brace suits my style the best. It comes with individual spacers for the bolt locations.

I believe US cars do not have that brace, hence why they get the transverse brace. AU/Euros do have it (for ADR type issues I believe) so don’t get the transverse brace, as it does not fit without the standoffs or hacking the brace.

Such a great day for a Sunday drive, seems like a lot of others agreed.

If only the moron farmer wasn't burning some sort of plastic, as seen by the black plume of smoke in the background, it would have been perfect.

Straight forward enough Adrian. Just torque the nuts to 35 lbs/ft. and no more. In my case the shock towers were a fraction close and made the brace a tight fit. With a little persuasion it came good.

Hmmm. So best to install one right before getting an alignment. LoL

Well I am by no means an expert Randy but I understand that an alignment is not necessary. It certainly was not mentioned in Steeda's fitting instructions whereas some other Steeda bits I have installed on the rear called for a wheel alignment afterwards.
