Auction GT PP

Hi all,

Just bought a 2015 GT PP from auction. Car is great! After replacing the blown engine with a new crate motor and repairing the driver quarter panel, it's fun to drive.

The thing is-I'm getting a P0300 code (Random misfire), engine light always stays on. Any ideas what it could be? There's a theory that the car could be tuned for E85, but I'm not sure how to check. There's a locked tune file on the car, it has an MBRP exhaust, a 2018 intake manifold, and a Roush CAI.

Any ideas how I can analyze this? Thanks.

What octane gas are you running in it? It could be tuned for 93 and you're running 91 for example. I'd imagine if it was tuned for specifically E85 the wideband would not be able to compensate for a fuel like 93 and it would run extremely rich. Another idea is the car has the factory calibration back in it and the Roush CAI is missing the sleeve causing issues with your MAF readings. I believe the intake swap itself would be enough to cause running issues on a stock tune. I can't speak directly on the 2015 but there may be a place in the dash menu you can monitor AF ratio like on the 18+ and this would give you an idea on how your mixture is.

Could also be a cracked intake manifold.
