I have a set of MAP charge pipes on their way. I have been looking at several different intercoolers, ATM and Levels are my top picks. The guys from ATM informed me that they have heard the MAP charge pipes are a little shorter than the stock and I may need to use silicon hose to extend the length of the pipes to work with their intercooler. If this is the case would the MAP pipes potentially have issues with other FMICs that aren't direct replacements? Can anyone confirm or deny this?

Adam. Which intercooler do you recommend ? The Levels one seems like a nice unit for the money. I am following your list of mods to make and this is next on my list.
Thanks in advance.

Best performing - Full-Race and ATM
Second Best - Levels

Still waiting to test SpeedFactory, I am going to take a solid guess and say it performs the same as levels.

Stock location performers (in order)

Cobb
MAP
Mishimoto

Waiting to see how the CP-E unit performs, should be tuning a car with it installed next week.

I couldnt get the hot side intercooler pipe to fit with my ATM intercooler. Wasnt long enough. I have been using the stock coupler but I have a longer 2.5 inch on the way for the hotside

I thought the levels unit was a direct exchange?
I have read of many others not having any issues.

Looking forward to being the test dummy for the CP-E intercooler
