  1. Best speaker upgrade

As far as I can tell the tweeter in the a-pillar is still active. The sound is good for the amount of money spent, but nothing exceptional. You can definitely tell that the system is lacking some bass. The highs don't seem to interfere with each other and the listening experience is pleasant.
  2. Best speaker upgrade

I just installed the Stage 3 motorsports speakers yesterday. http://www.stage3motorsports.com/KSC654-2015-Mustang-Kicker-KS654-6-5-Door-Speaker-Upgrade-Kit-Base-Audio.html They are definitely an improvement over stock, but the car still needs a subwoofer. You will need to drill into the car...
  3. Turbosmart BOV Boost Issues

Thanks for the help guys, it is most appreciated. I was able to get the vacuum lines changed around this afternoon and everything is working as it should now.
  4. Turbosmart BOV Boost Issues

Thanks for your input. I will attempt to change the vacuum line here in the next couple of days, depending on if the weather cooperates with my plans, and update the situation.
  5. Turbosmart BOV Boost Issues

That was what I thought based on my understanding of turbo cars. I am brand new to turbo cars, so some of the concepts are still a little foreign to me. The previous cars I have owned have all been NA and many were carbureted. I updated my original posts with some links to photos on Flickr...
  6. Turbosmart BOV Boost Issues

I installed it because the BOV was not working properly. With the switch removed there is just a massive intake noise and no blow off. It doesn't build boost properly, only building 13lbs in normal boost and 16lbs when running over boost. When the vacuum switch is installed and fairly...
  7. Turbosmart BOV Boost Issues

I installed a set of Maperformance charge pipes with the Turbosmart Supersonic Smart Port BOV. I love the quality of the BOV and the pipes, however the blow off valve did not seem to be making the proper noise upon install. My dad, who helps me work on all of my cars, installed a variable switch...
  8. Atm intercooler

They offered to sell me the silicone charge pipes and the intercooler as a kit with an $80 discount. I already had charge pipes from MAperformance, so I opted out of that. The only contact I ever used was their email: [email protected]
  9. Atm intercooler

I received my intercooler from them about a month ago and emailed them last week before I installed it with a few questions. It took them a few days to respond, but I did get a response. I love the ATM intercooler, it keeps charge temps way down. They informed me when I messaged them about...
  10. MBRP Street vs Race

Just a marketing ploy by MBRP or CJ Pony Parts. I haven't heard the street in person, but my race is definitely not "wake your neighbors up" loud. If you were running a catless dp it probably would be, but with the stock down pipe it is definitely fine.
  11. What do we know about the 2018?

The EBs, in general, have been pretty reliable engines. Almost every vehicle in Ford's lineup has an EB option. The 3.5 EB has proven to be a powerful engine and a great addition to the F150s. Everyone always says turbo engines are trouble waiting to happen, most people are still waiting. There...
  12. ATM Intercooler and MAP Charge Pipes

I have a set of MAP charge pipes on their way. I have been looking at several different intercoolers, ATM and Levels are my top picks. The guys from ATM informed me that they have heard the MAP charge pipes are a little shorter than the stock and I may need to use silicon hose to extend the...

  14. MBRP Street vs Race

I have the race version. I'll answer my questions to the best of my ability. 1. The exhaust is not excessively loud at low RPMs. It is completely tolerable and not attention-whorey at all. However, if you have a manual and rev match your downshifts to higher RPMs (like 3k+) you will get a lot...
