This may of been brought up in the past but I'm wondering if anyone received photos of their car coming down varies stages of the assembly line?
My neighbor picked up his car in Sept. and about a week afterwards, the dealer sent him 10-12 pics of his car at various stages on the assembly line.
How would someone go about acquiring pics of their car?

Technically, they are not supposed to. I do believe it is a serious offense. The ones that do get them are from people they know on the inside at FRAP. I'm surprised a dealer would offer up those photos, I am equally surprised that they have those photos to begin with.

And these weren't just promo shots, the pics eventually showed his vin #
Well, I'll let you know. I asked the GM at my dealer last week if this is something that can be had on my car. Mine goes into production this week I've been told.

Pics of your car coming down the line would be pretty cool to have.

How about some pics of my car sitting in a black hole? It's there somewhere and whoever knows why it has not shipped sure is not telling me or the dealership why. It's been produced since 11/06 and nothing since with no updates.
