Not sure I understand the question if referring to the term "easter eggs".

It's a silly message like "Raining cats & & dogs" as the rain becomes a downpour. That the Tin Foil hats write into the code of an application or software.


Often are found here and there, the IT name for them is easter eggs.

No the weather stations. didn't know that had home level stuff.

Yes https://abientweather.net allows you to view a slew of info in graphs, chart etc sorted by time...and such. You can view your own station or any of others that post their data. Has a phone app as well...

You can see each time the furnace lights up in the indoor temp graph and how the suns energy is enough to 'take over' once it rises a short ways even on the shortest days of the year we experiencing right now. I can compare this to my solar panel data and you can see that we're pulling from our heat pump to keep the house warm - free heating and cooling for 90% of the year! We produce enough electricity to run the house even now though snow on the panels/cloudy days means we draw off the credits we generated this summer/fall. Each downward blip in orange is the heat pump running except the largest one is from running the clothes dryer.
