Just a statup for now, its midnight here.

Take that sound and about 100 times deeper. Or use some good headphones so the bass comes out.

Standing behind it you can feel it in your chest and that was a good 3-4 feet away still. It's a beast of a system; it sounds like what if you closed your eyes a V8 muscle car should sound like. IMO a lot of these other raspy systems sound like fartcans on a Subaru Impreza. Not all bad (like on a Honda) but metallic trumpety sound that's does not scream V8 muscle car at all to me; and loud just to be really loud with no good tone to it.

And yes, I was a Borla guy before 2015. I had Stingers on my S197 and they were almost as loud and deep as the ARH H-pipe even with an X-pipe. The new ones sound junky to me- far from the old cylindrical mufflers. Whether they're not straight through anymore or just the shape change killed the sound but they sound nothing like the older ones before the design change where they all now look like a stock muffler shape

I said it before in another thread and i'll say it again: The ARH H-pipe makes the car sound the way it should, IMO. I like a few of the other systems out there (based on the vids I've seen), but I don't think any of them match the character of the car quite like the ARH does.

I put some vids on my ARH headers thread today which may help some. Won't put them here because it's not my thread but I can tell you no drone at all and I love the sound.

I received my catback today. The box was destroyed. I accepted it from ups cause i was too excited to install it. Fortunately nothing was damaged in the shipping process. Unfortunately, once we had removed the stock exhaust, we noticed that there were a pair of clamps missing. Sucks how a simple mistake can cause so much frustration! Btw, arh is shipping me the clamps as soon as they can.

Yes, I gave them a call and Steve was willing to help me figure out what was missing and overnight the clamps. It was one of the reasons why i went with ARH vs competitors. Everybody here who has done business with them had great things to say regarding their CS. Now hopefully they can help me out with an install diagram or a set of instructions detailing which part belongs on which side.

Can't deny that ARH's customer service is great:)

Let us know if you run into any snags on the install.

Well the mufflers its pretty clear which side they go on by the hangers with the hangers at the top and toward the middle of the car. I believe, don't quote me here because I didn't look closely before install, that the pipe between the H and mufflers is interchangeable on either side and are identical with no hangers. The H just goes on, obviously the smaller end towards the cats to connect.

Put the H on and the mufflers in the hangers. You will logically be able to figure out how the pipes are situated; one of those things that only goes one way and is obvious if it is wrong.

The H has a short and a long side. I believe the shorter side goes on the driver side. The parts that go after the H are not identical. It would just be easier with instructions or some sort of part identification. It does not seem to be a hard install, once the parts are identified.

Maybe some other arh catback owners that did the install themselves can chime in and give me some feedback. It would be much appreciated.
