Are the wires there?

Just curious, but on a base Ecoboost does anyone know if the wires are there for some of the premium options? Namely the pony projection lights, lighted door sills and the track packs center gauges. I apologise if this has been asked before, I couldn't find it. Thanks!

All I can tell you on this one, is I know the wires are there for door sills, on my 5.0 GT with 50 year anniversary appearance package car, I know I have two sets of sills plates, the ones that came with 50th anniversary appearance package, and the ones I ordered from ford that lite up, at a $130.00 ea. so now I have two sets, and neither of them lite up..... This is all I can answer on what you have asked...... :ford: John

I remember on my 2012 base model I put the premium headlight switch in and it gave me the automatic lights without doing anything else. I also installed a boss302 steering wheel and the stereo buttons wouldnt work until the dealer flashed it, I never had them do that but did hear of people doing so.

I think its safe to assume that some is, but not necessarily all

Interesting. Should I get a base model I'll either pop a fuse in or become friends with a tech at my local dealer. The programming might even be something I can include in the deal when I get the car. If I don't get a premium of course..
