I have a '16 GT PP, and I just picked up a PLX multigauge

I go to hook it up to our obd port and nothing happens. It requires power from the cigarette lighter which has a red light so I know thats working, and the obd plug into the port. Yet nothing happens.
I plug it into any other car and its fine! I havent dug into it too much since its cold and rainy out but just wondering if someone else has seen this before.
