56k is excellent value for a Track GT350. I suppose you're other option is 100k for the Porsche GT4 with lesser performance.

No complaints here.

Agree! And I'd even likely have no complaints even if I had a zero-option GT350! Having second thoughts about that GT4 though... good thing the allocation spot is still far away. :headbonk:

So really since I dont need nav I'd only be missing out on magneride and the coolers. Good to hear those of you with a base arent finding the non magneride suspension disappointing, and I can always add coolers later when my budget allows for it, I'm sure there will be aftermarket options.

No complaints here.

The Camaro at $39k includes magnetic suspension and dual mode exhaust. Similar performance.

Wow, is that really true?

Yes, build it online. 2016 1SS + mag suspension + MPP exhaust. $39k

And they have discounts. Local dealers already negotiating down $3-5k depending on options.

Yes if you purchased the 2016 Camaro SS you would save about $10k over a 2016 Shelby GT350.

With the 16 Shelby GT350 you get a FPC @ 8200rpm with an exotic car sound with huge 15.5 brakes, with a different styling front end....... with production at about 5k units per year.
With the 16 Camaro SS you get a pushrod @ 6500rpm with the same sound as every other musclecar on the road, with production at about 50k units per year.

Check pricing on a 5yr old Camaro vs Shelby.

Every asshole has a regular Camaro. You just won't see that many GT350's around. There is no real comparison IMO.

That's obvious the Shelby retains value better. But as far as value for what u get, the

Camaro gives you pretty much the same with a savings of $10k+. Camaro with 4 piston brembos nearly brakes just as good.

Not trying to sell anyone on a Camaro, just saying your getting similar performance at a big price difference.

You might convince some they are close to the same.
But if you look at them its not even a conversation.
I outgrew matchbox cars when I was 7 :)

A base Mustang GT is almost as fast as Camaro SS for less money and plus, you get to see out the windows while your driving.

S550 GT runs highs 12s - 13.0 in the quarter stock. Def no where near. I've driven both.

I think Camaros are great. I probably will never buy one, but I like to see them on the road. The more pony cars out there the better IMO. I will keep my GT350, though.

Good point. Plus with a Mustang people will come up to you and say they think your car is good looking. Happened to me a couple times today. :)

Mustang will always be no 1, beside Steve McQueen didnā€™t drive a Camaro in Bullitt.
