anyone using cheap 17s on base EB???

just purchased my 20s but going to buy 2 17 inch wheels. Going to try a buddies 03/04 17 inch cobras saturday to see if they fit. But wondering, anyone else here try or find some cheap wide 17s for drag radials or winter set (not needed im in cali but same difference lol)

17's won't fit on the front of my car but I bought 2 17x9 Bullitt wheels to put my 275 MT Street R's on. I couldn't justify the cost of Race Stars when I would only run them at the drag strip.

These Bullitts were meant for SN-95 cars (offset wise) and they fit just fine. I don't know how well a 10.5" wheel would fit with the SN95 offset.

Thank god this thread came up, I have been searching for a while. I too want to run some 50$ older mustang wheels with bias ply slicks. guess I can now start shopping for used wheels.

WTH bullits fit? i would think that would be the one that wouldnt because those are the one rim that are picky with 5 lug fox swaps. Are they OEM or after market bullits, have a link? Not going to run 17's up front but out of curiousity is your EB a base?

They are American Muscle Bullitts. Mine is a base with 6 piston Brembo's. I don't even think the Bullitt's would fit the base brakes, they barely clear the rears.

Sweet i mean theyre not the lightest but bullits are a dime a dozen so i can find those for super cheap on craigslist. Thanks alot
