Checked with Borla and there response, quieter the S-Type Cat.

Anyone running the Borla Touring that can give general idea sound levels?

Are you planning on doing the s-type active axleback and then put in the resonator?

Had the S-type CAT Back with Resonator on 19GT. It is a great system, just not sure if I want to install on RS3 or go a little quieter.
I understand. I think with the active it is a wicked sound. I love the Borla active systems. As you know, the quality is top notch too.

I have the Shelby GT-H active exhaust version, I guess Borla made it first for Shelby GT-H before they decided to sell a touring version directly from Borla. Installer felt it sounded quieter than stock at idle and quiet mode was quieter? it has a nicer sound than stock and seems quieter vs stock, and for sure not S-type loud.

I drove in quiet mode and no others seem to test me, they try to look to race but once they get close and cannot really hear my car and also see I have no 5.0 fender badges and I have a Pony decklid.... so they still think I probably just have an ecoboost with some quads slapped on.

But in normal and sport with throttle, you can tell it is a V8 and has 0 drone.
