Looking for some ideas. I have a CDC shaker coming soon. I can install everything, but want to have a shop cut the hole in the hood. I was wondering if there’s enough clearance for me to install the lower bracket and still be able to shut the hood for the drive to the shop so I can quickly and easily throw the shaker on after the hole is done. This is how it currently looks.

I am currently in same boat, waiting on a shop to be open and available. Everything else is doable excpet cutting the damn hole in the hood. I had a dealership turn the work away, didnt want to be responsibile for hood damage.

Thanks Anthony

My kit comes in today. I found a local shop willing to cut it for $200, but they’re two weeks out. So I’ll have it soon!

Oh cool man. I have my shaker 1 month already, waiting on 1 shop.. Body shops are like primadonna's!!!!!! The install of the bracketry is going to be the easy part, its the alignment that is going to be a ballbreaker, adjusting the height so we dont get leakage etc....
