I'm about 5'9", 180lbs and find the premium seats very comfortable. I did have to tweak and adjust at first though.

I didn't really give the Mustang credit for seat comfort until I had a Fusion rental for a few days. Now that, I did not find comfortable.

I'm 5-10, 255 (workout religiously) and the regular seats were awesome. I drove a car with Recaros and I didn't even touch the back of the seat (wide, thick back).

I was always a tip the seat back kind of guy but I sit straight up in this car with my head against the rest. Pure joy and happiness. Since i started doing this, I grew an inch, lost 20lbs, my hair started growing back and got phone numbers from three different gals. Try it, you will like it

I used to have the same problem. I always felt like the lumbar support was too aggressive and always pushing into my back. Was very uncomfortable on long trips. It has went away with time though. Not sure if I broke the seat in or I just got used to it. Maybe you could go to an upholstery shop and have them adjust the lumbar in the seat?

I have recaros and no issues here...but to want to dump your car for something else? That's a little crazy just for the seating, unless it's getting unfathomable to consistently sit in.

There maybe some issues with your seats and I would go to the dealer...sit in seats exactly the same as yours and check if you feel the same issues. It maybe just be a defect on your seats.
I don't blame him one bit. I m 6'5" and 235 lbs, I'm comfortable in my convertible and very happy with it.
2013 I bought a new Grand Cherokee Limited with leather. The seats sucked horribly. Id get a bad backache in as little as an hour at the wheel. I put 1200 miles on it in 8 months. It was pretty obvious I didn't like it. I ended up giving it to my son. It's his baby and he loves it.

I had people ask me if I didn't test drive it first. Well, yes I did. But, not for an hour. The seat felt ok for the 2 mile test ride.

I have some issues with my gas pedal leg on longer drives... thank god for cruise control.

I have been thinking of doing aftermarket seats for better support soon.

5ft 10, 175 lbs, love my recaros. The stock seats were too soft and cushy for me.

I went from a 2007 to a 2016...

The 2007 seats, as simple as they were, were actually some of the most comfortable of any car I've been in for a long trip, as good as many more expensive ones.

At first, the 2016 seats seemed far less comfortable. Catch is, there's way more adjustment options. After enough tweaking, I found a (more or less) sweet spot that's quite comfortable.

I'm 5'6, and the amount of leg room left behind me a REALLY tiny... I feel the need to move the seat pretty far back to have comfortable foot-to-pedal distance. Not the case with my 2007.
My 2007 is great as well, the lumbar saves me and i notice it in cars that dont have it.

Im 5' 7" 250lbs. short legs big wide back. I can take all the high deep lumbar support i can get.
