Thanks very much!!! Sucks they wont honor the discount on Roush products. Such bullshit. Same goes w steeda, they will only honor discount on steeda parts. It's a waste of a discount. Sad to say... the discount should be applicable to all parts, regardless........

We & most suppliers are held to a MAP (Minimum Advertised Price) - we have agreements with manufacturers when we carry their products that we won't sell below a certain price threshold.

That is why we are able to discount select Steeda Manufactured Products with a 5% discount & up to 20% during our yearly sales.

Only when the manufacturer agrees to a sale price can we offer a discount.

people walk into the grocery store, and what the milk costs, it costs. they don't go to the manager and ask for a quote on a gallon of milk and loaf of bread.

people walk into lowes everyday and buy a 2x4' and don't ask for a quote on 3 2x4's a saw blade an extension cord.

the price is what the price is. that said, we always take care of the members and try to do extra discounts wherever we can to help the guys and gals out. Same as steeda said though, most mfg's have an agreement policy that you cannot offer coupon codes, etc.. that discount price.

some companies like roush and stainless works, you cannot even put in print that you are willing to offer a discount, or the possiblity of a discount. you will lose the ability to sell for something as simple as that. price 1 item incorrectly on accident even by $1, lose abiltiy to sell for 30 days...

you can always dm us on anything your looking at and we'll try to help, but you can't get mad at vendors for adhering to policies that allow them to offer the product lines.

Im not getting mad, just saying.... ROUSH is stingy as Fcuk! they need to be a little more giving for the enthusiast who buy there cars and parts. I dropped big coin on there phase 2 blower and there Roush max mod cooling kit, along with the aero foils, upper and lower grills and all kinds of other stuff. They are as tight as a clams a$$......... When you ask them for a sticker, they wanna charge you...For God sakes!!!! They they wonder why, when people have a chance to buy a knock off from china they do, because its 3x cheaper.

I get a standing 10% discount from Home Depot and Lowes for being a Military vet... myth busted... I would say tho... Beefcake has always taken care of me! Yes... I will always look for a discount... and buy where I get one!

Fair enough, but it is a published program with an easy sign up process... much like Lowes. I don't have to ask them if they have a military discount program... or better yet, come on the forum and see my friends from BeefCake (mean that, really like them) ranting about someone asking for a discount.
