Anyone else's s550 mirrors do this?

My 2015 did that all the time. Early on I tried to get the dealer to fix it but they could never reproduce it. I gave up long before that TSB was issued.

I found the best fix was to replace it with a 2020 mirror, as a bonus Ford threw in the rest of the car .

Did anyone attempt to get this issue fixed with the SSM? The darn SSM came out after my factory warranty expired, I have the extended Extra Care Warranty until next year but I don't know if reprogamming the DDM and PDM modules are covered under extended warranty? Does anyone know?

Also, did anyone attempt to flash the newest software for the DDM and PDM themselves, if so? Could you explain? It would be really helpful. Thank you!
