I'm torn between two loves my self.

Do I take the Stang or the R1200R? Am i feeling like Steve McQueen today or Michael Dunlop.:headbang:

Granted I'm backwards meaning hot Texas Summer usually in car but on those brisk 30 degree winter mornings I'm on the bike.

Happens to me all the time when I have to travel for work. What usually happens for me is that I end up in a slow POS rental car and when I get home, the first thing I do is drop my suitcase and backpack off in the house and go straight to the garage to go for a ride. One time the Uber driver dropped me off and I literally beat him out of the parking lot in the stang since he had to go to the back and make a U-turn. I waved at him at the red light down the road.

Just found out that selected Hertz offices have a 'Hertz' gold-striped GT350 for rent.
I wish they still had s550s for rent in addition to those. I've been renting with Hertz for many years now and a lot of times I got lucky and ended up in a mustang. For some reason, however, I have never seen or was able to rent an s550 from them. After a few trips I started asking Hertz and they were like "I haven't seen a mustang here in 8+ months."

I'm now an Avis customer as of like two weeks ago.

A couple of my co-workers got sent out to work a site in CA for a bit. They got flown out and got rentals, and I just remember thinking screw that. If it were me, I'd rather just drive my own damn car out there and tell them to save themselves the cost of the plane ticket and just reimburse me for gas and mileage instead. I took my week of vacation back in July and made a drive out there, I think I enjoyed the drive tearing down the wide open and empty US-6 more than I enjoyed finally getting to visit people I haven't seen in the 4 years it's been since I moved away from that area. Nah, I'm not that shallow but I really did love hitting the road there and back. Driving out here in some POS Chevy S10 with a camper shell slapped over all my belongings was pure hell and I never wanted to see a road again once I got out here, but making that trip in my '16 GT this time around I was actually twinged with disappointment when I finally reached the end of the road and got to where I was going. I definitely couldn't be without my car. The only thing that would keep me from driving it would be if those kinds of trips were frequently required of me, as I wouldn't want to piss through my 75k mile warranty within only a year or two.
