Anyone build a working mini V8?

I'm sure there's other V8 "models" out there; but this is cool it is desktop, water cooled and runs on "pump gas"...

I would love to build that, but two to three grand is too steep.
This ‘65 Mustang V8 looks like a fun quick project, but not the same as those real operating mini engines.
