I wonder if they would do that for autos since they have to make adjustments to the speedo and what not. They probably won't but if they did however...I do wonder if I could have a dealer install this and retain warranty though. I definitely wouldn't be comfortable doing it myself and since it is part of the drivetrain, I'd want to at least try and keep the warranty.

You are right, the 3:73 rear end that comes with the PP is Torsen. There is no option for 3:73s in this car from factory with trac-loc iirc.Did the GT have a 3.73 gear option with the standard trac-loc diff? I thought the only way to get those gears was in the Torsen equipped performance pack cars?
