There's an app for that ;) (well I wouldn't know)... Can see the appeal for a Base stang but not really for the full NAV version - especially at this price

The iPad mini charging is the only thing I see being an issue. Like most people I don't even touch my interface for anything other than OCCASIONALLY switching to the Radio.....MAYBE. The Majority of the time I deal with my phone for WAZE or pandora and thats it. Thats all I really need tbh.. IF he can figure out a way to do WIRELESS charging I'm sold!

perfect idea (what I would like to do) BUT the fit/finish of that doesn't look very good. those knobs do not inspire confidence.

they could do without the VOL / TUNE written cheesily on the front as well.

im sure you could wrangle a charger in there with little to no problem

also data plans are $10 a month on ATT for a tablet to add to an existing plan

...and doesn't even charge the ipads.
This! there's no provision for charging, but they expect you to keep a constant power/bluetooth tether to your car... interesting concept, Horrible execution.

Brian V, what you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever read. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this thread is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.
Read his other forum posts...this is everywhere around here. Best to put him on ignore to reduce the risk of IQ loss.

Interesting.
Extended knobs and a bezel for $300.
Audio through BT and need a wifi interface for camera.
Dash kit $300
BT adapter 40
WiFi adapter 90
Total $430...
I'm not sold.

I'm literally only a few miles from them. May have to go look at it for you guys interested.
Don't forget the cost of the tablet as well!

What I'm not clear on is how the camera is integrated. Yes, there is a wifi adapter for the backup camera but how does that tie into the tablet? In other words, if I put the car in reverse, will I automatically see the rearview camera screen or do you need to open the Camera app everytime? Also, I wonder if you get the guidance lines and/or a graphic for the proximity sensors (if applicable)...

It looks like it uses a wifi connection from the backup camera to the iPad mini. You likely have to install it underneath the back of your car and even though it says no wiring it looks like it has to be wired for power. Probably not too hard of an install but based on the guy's demo it looks like you have to open the iPad App every time you back up.

Will this work on the base radio? If so sold! This is would be the easiest upgrade for the base radios.

I have a base radio and have ordered mine. I already have an iPad mini 4 mounted on my dash. This thread is filled with misinformation.

The front usb radio port charges my iPad perfectly. You don't need Bluetooth. I just have my iPad play through USB through the same front port that charges it. I have been talking to the company and they said they can make it without the volume/tune markings.

Also, you don't wire the camera to the rear of the car. You use this: http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00UE...amera+2015&dpPl=1&dpID=41EJUU4XplL&ref=plSrch
by tapping into the video feed from the rear of the radio.

I'm not a big fan of the knobs myself but I'm sure I can modify it to use the original ones.

I have been waiting for an iPad mini mount for sometime so hopefully they can work on it some more.
