This! there's no provision for charging, but they expect you to keep a constant power/bluetooth tether to your car... interesting concept, Horrible execution....and doesn't even charge the ipads.
Read his other forum posts...this is everywhere around here. Best to put him on ignore to reduce the risk of IQ loss.Brian V, what you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever read. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this thread is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.
Damn, Todd.Read his other forum posts...this is everywhere around here. Best to put him on ignore to reduce the risk of IQ loss.
Don't forget the cost of the tablet as well!Interesting.
Extended knobs and a bezel for $300.
Audio through BT and need a wifi interface for camera.
Dash kit $300
BT adapter 40
WiFi adapter 90
Total $430...
I'm not sold.
I'm literally only a few miles from them. May have to go look at it for you guys interested.
It looks like it uses a wifi connection from the backup camera to the iPad mini. You likely have to install it underneath the back of your car and even though it says no wiring it looks like it has to be wired for power. Probably not too hard of an install but based on the guy's demo it looks like you have to open the iPad App every time you back up.Don't forget the cost of the tablet as well!
What I'm not clear on is how the camera is integrated. Yes, there is a wifi adapter for the backup camera but how does that tie into the tablet? In other words, if I put the car in reverse, will I automatically see the rearview camera screen or do you need to open the Camera app everytime? Also, I wonder if you get the guidance lines and/or a graphic for the proximity sensors (if applicable)...
That Gold Mine is still for sale !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:amen:Brian V, what you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever read.
