So last week I got rear-ended at a stoplight which sucks, but insurance is taking care of the repairs.
Today while I was at the dealership's body shop, I asked about getting the black part of the rear two-piece valence swapped out for one that is white. He told me that it only comes in the molded black plastic so it would have to be painted. That seemed strange to me, but I guess the non-premium rear valence is only one piece.
Anyway, has anybody painted this piece? Because it's textured I'm unsure of how it will look in the end. All in all it will cost me about $65 out of pocket to get it painted while they are doing the repair work, so it seems like a good opportunity.
