if you guys didnt notice the pics are up...

The 1-2 inches of travel is for telescoping... the pivot is much more of course. But i didnt bother checking how much. But i can say it seemed to have traveled further than the '13s when i comes to pivot.

I sat in one as well, I didn't feel the steering adjustability was outside of normal, def seemed like more than 1-2 inches

That could be worst excuse I've heard to not get a car. Obviously you weren't serious to begin with.

Nothing could be further from the truth. Having a comfortable driving position is one of the most important things to me in a driving experience. I have a 2013 fusion and I absolutely hate the driving position. It also doesn't adjust low enough for me but does adjust to absurdly tall heights. I hate it so much that I want to get out of the car after 30-45 minutes.

I've researched this car a ton and I'm drooling over it, but the poor wheel position would be a massive dealbreaker.

I hope you are right. I'm waiting until my dealership has one in stock then I'll be able to tell for sure! I've spent a LOT of time researching the car and I'm starting to think I was silly to think Ford would change ergonomics with this car, but they were touting more wheel functionality than on the Fusion.

You're right and I deleted my post. I over reacted because of all the EB bashing and criticisms in other posts.
Sorry, it's partial boredom of a lack of new information, frustration that my car is a while away.

Hey man,
I ordered a GT but was seriously considering the ecoboost. I think it's a great alternative and fantastic value proposition. It puts out more power at the same weight as my 06 GT, and gets way better mileage to boot. That's awesome no matter how it sounds.

Yeah especially when you compare the EB to the 2005-2010 4.6 and 4.0

4.0 was 19.4 lbs. per hp

4.6 was 15.2 lbs. per hp

New 2.3 is 11.? Lbs. Per hp

For 2010, the hp was 315 with a curb weight of about 3600lbs, so that works out to be about 11.4 lbs per hp. As the EB is similar in weight and power output, I would expect their acceleration specs to be similar.
