Wouldnt surprise me if this was a fault of the iPhone not being "compatible" due to Apple being dicksi get an error, but then playing music through it works just fine. i just plugged it in for the power. otherwise, i just use blue tooth. samsung galaxy S4
my bigger problem is with my iPhone 4S, i make a call on it and it drops the call from the car, but keeps ringing on the phone itself. the 4S is unable to message through SYNC either but, the music plays just fine. Does anyone know if the iPhone 6 improves the calling feature or enables the messaging feature?
For the sake of clarity, yes, i have 2 phones, one is a work phone (galaxy), the other is a personal phone (iPhone).

Not to be a bearer of bad news, but I don't think it's the car. My roommate has an Galaxy S4 and he can't even charge it with half the usb cables/wall chargers i have in our apartment. It gives an error message when he plugs it in for the power as well if that's what you're seeing. Not sure if someone has posted this one here somewhere yet, but I was wondering if anyone knew how to solve the problem of the mustang not working with my android when i plug it in through the USB port.
