Changed out the Big Worm light charcoal tint on the fog lights for their light blue tint.

It was about 60 degrees today and I used a hair dryer. Warmed up the tint pieces and the lights and sprayed both with water. Worked them on from the very center out.

Put mine on in a 50 degree garage at night with a hair dryer. Once I warmed it up with the hair dryer to flatten the fingers, all was well. Turned out great!

Curious why the switch to a color that makes them match the headlights even less?

During the day, when the lights are off, you really can't tell the difference.

When on, you're right, the fogs are now a very light blue. I thought the contrast might be nice. I can always pull them off and order anohter set of the light tint from Big Worm if I decide I don't like it.

Lol! Thanks man! The corner tint should be one of the first mods done to the S550 IMO.

The install video really helped. If you rush you will screw it up. Use a microfiber cloth to get the fingers out. Your fingers am an snag and crease the vinyl.

Thanks to Stoli for that picture

Are these tint kits illegal? If they are has any one had any issues with the police? How's the visibility at night?

In most states, yes. Just like your window tint is since Tennessee is 35% max. :)

Visibility is fine and never had an issue even on my previous car with charcoal on the tails and gunsmoke on the headlights; both of which are darker than the Anchor Room tints.

From my understanding is it just the headlights that are illegal? There's like a certain distance you have to be able to see the tail lights from my understanding. Do you know if that is correct?

Tennessee just says they have to be red and visible from 100'. Pretty lax considering it takes cars more than that to stop @ highway speeds.

BTW: Google is working today in case you weren't aware. :D
