Has anyone used Amsoil synthetic yet? Read testing that indicates it is the best choice based on six performance categories. Others tested were Mobil1, Royal Purple, Castrol, Redline and Havoline. 7 degree cooler running temps and 15k/1 yr. change interval. Less than $12/qt.

Although they say you can use it for 15k or 1 year I would recommend you test the oil periodically if you are going to try and run it that long.

I run Amsoil in my car as well.

I have been using Pennzoil Ultra since day 1 and seems to back up all the testing results I had read about it.
