Has anybody used the Ammo Reflex Pro? I used it as directed and buffed after seeing a rainbow effect. I let it cure without any water touching for 24 hours. But when I touch it, it’s not smooth or silky. Is that normal? I’m moving next to the sealant but just curious about others who may have used this product…

From what I understand (no firsthand experience with ceramic coatings) some ceramic coatings can have an almost tacky feel when they're freshly cured. Washing, a subsequent layer, or a topper would bring out the slickness you're looking for. Just because the surface feels "tacky", doesn't mean the hydrophobic and protective qualities of the coating aren't working.

Yes. He mentions the smoothness after curing time. That was my concern, it didn’t get smooth after it cured.

I added the Ammo skin, which is the paint sealant, on top and now it’s smooth and slick. Looks like what was happening was exactly the way you described.

Glad it worked out for you. Hopefully the Reflex Pro cured properly and you will not have any issues. I would still reach out to Larry and let him know what happened.
