ford TPMS are auto learning, just slap the wheels on and drive around and it will auto learn

This is not always the case. Tried to use my OEM wheels and sensors on my wifes 2017. Worked for a few miles, then intermittent, then quit working all together. Ended up buying reset tool and manually resetting. And the process using the hazard flasher toggle DID NOT work. Brake once, then on/off, on/off, on/off, brake again, then on/off, on/off, on got mine reset and working.

yeah definitely not always the case. I have two sets of wheel/tires with TPMS sensors and when I got the second set the car did learn them automatically, after switching sets once or twice, it got MIGHTY confused and the only solution was to buy the training tool.

Brake, on/off, on/off, ON, brake , off/on, off/on, off/on puts it into the right training mode to work with the training tool. Hazard toggle thing does not work (even tho it says its in training mode)

I have ordered 2 sets from American Muscle, bot sets have had issues. 1st issue was over inflation on 3 and 1 valve stem not tightened. 2nd (fighting now) Over inflation, loose TPMS sensors and a wheel that is out of center. 2 sensors were so loose that when I got to my local wheel shop the sensors were no longer attached in the wheel. They are attempting to make it right but they don't have another one of the wheels in stock and aren't open to me sourcing a wheel from elsewhere at the moment. Tire shop couldn't get my backup Ford Racing sensors activate either. Think I am getting f^cked two different ways at this point.

I SHOULD have ordered from Paul at PK AutoDesign, him and I went back and forth for months on options but I got a slightly better deal from AM. Obviously that turned out wrong.

I will NEVER get another wheel set from AM, unless they are half off or free.

Hi guys, thanks for the responses. So far I've tried these methods:

1) The standard american muscle instructions (Aka, Brake --> ignition 5 times --> Brake ---> Ignition 6 times.

2) The hazard switch method that some said worked for older TPMS sensors.

3) Completely deflated them, then inflated them up to spec and then attempted both 1 and 2, and still nothing.
