Ambient lighting won't stay on?

I have the same problem. The ambient lighting works when I manually turn it on. If I stop the engine and exit the car it won’t turn back on when I get back in a few seconds later.

Have you taken it to the dealership to show them? I was going to show them today but I couldn’t figure out how to get it to turn on at all in the daylight.

I love it. As you can see the black stripe looks really subtle even in direct sunlight but I sort of prefer it that way

Hey All,

I realize this is an old thread, but my warranty will be up soon and I wanted to fix nagging things like this once and for all without being out-of-pocket. I figured Ford would release an update to address this issue, but I haven't seen anything. As you can see in the photo, ambient lights come on, but the check box is unchecked. I have to check the box and then uncheck it to get them to turn off every time I start the car. However, if I shut the car off and then back on within a few minutes, they will stay off.
