I'm not far from you. What's the difference between the base V6 and base GT dash trim?

The GT has an aluminum dash trim piece(s). The V6 has black plastic.

I'm sure if you wait long enough the aftermarket will meet your needs. I'm holding out for a company to make ACTUAL metal surrounds for the manual shifter, door handles, and cup holder surround. The plastic irritates me.

My 50th aap Premium GT had the aluminum panel you're looking for, I liked it more than the one in my PP non 50th aap car. The PP one is so busy.

I'm sure some classy (ie not faux carbon fiber covers) aftearket options will be out soon enough. I'm kind of curious how I'd like a body color painted piece (ruby red in my case)

Did any GT PP cars come with the Aluminum panel. Did you need to order the 50 Anniversary package. Or was it only on the 1964 Anniversary cars. On my GT Pp i have a plastic one and i liked the look of the straight aluminum panel.
