I have a 2015 mustang GT automatic. I purchased a DSS aluminum driveshaft after sending it back-and-forth to them three times and still have a consistent vibration at 70 miles an hour. They were very nice to deal with and did give me a full refund for the drive shaft, but I am still interested in purchasing one. Looking for recommendations for a one piece aluminum driveshaft that will not have vibration issues. Thanks advance.

From what I understand, or read, the two piece drive shaft was engineered for mustang. The drive line is offset. So Ford had to engineer a two piece DS in order to delete NVH. Maybe one of those new fiber types would help eliminate NVH.

I went with Qa1 carbon fiber driveshaft, no added nvh compared to the stock one.

Just be prepared when it does fail. They explode. But your car won't be damaged. Was going to have one installed, but I'm not a drag racer. Two piece DS is ok for a street/freeway driver.

I never mentioned DSS. DS is short for Drive Shaft. This way we don't have to type drive shaft umpteen times in a paragraph which speaks about drive shafts.

I briefly tried the Dana Spicer one on my MT82 car. I had vibration that started around 80mph when on power and vibration that was pretty constant when coasting. I tried several iterations of clocking the flanges and shimming the transmission down. I never got it to go away completely and used it once on the road course before I returned it. I don’t think that vibration is good for the car especially for prolonged periods on track. Luckily summit racing took it back.

I wonder if my aluminum subframe bushings made it more prominent than it would have been with the stock rubber bushings.

Guess it doesn't really matter. Qa1 doesn't make the cabron fiber DS for my Mach 1. Fact is, they only make them for op to 2019 Mustangs.

I have a 2022 Mustang and it fit just fine. A Mach 1 is not that different compared to a GT.

I have been using a Steeda driveshaft on my 2020 GT for almost a year and a half. 6,000 miles on it and no issues, didn’t notice any increase in NVH. No complaints.

Was looking at their .com, and no DS products listed for Mustangs 2020+ . Just Ford F-150s. They need to do work on their .com.

Oh. Actually it is different. Tremec Vs. How you say, POS Getrag? GT DS won't work on Tremec. Tremec, Leagues above Getrag. Like you said DSS pos compared to Qa1. Hmm?

Call them and ask would be the most logical answer. DSS is a pos though, no denying that. 😂
