Using Michelin AS 4s year-round. 90% of my driving is street/spirited driving. They work great. No noise. Smooth. No problems with traction during the heat of Summer or cold of Fall/Winter. Tires get positive reviews.

While I am giving up some warm weather performance, I don't have to be concerned about traction when cold or damp out. It's not uncommon for Fall mornings here to be below 0C as the Sun is coming up, with light frost, followed by temps 12C later in the afternoon.

Several have left positive reviews on Continental tires; might be worthwhile to study those.

What size are you running on front and rear tire sizes? Just got my first mustang and itā€™s a 2022 Mach 1 with hp. Iā€™m not sure if I need to keep using the 305 and 315 tire sizes

Congrats on taking receipt of the car. :like:

Welcome to the forums.

I'm currently running 19x10, +35, square setup, with a 285/35/19 Michelin A/S 4.

With a 19" rim, there's an unfortunate gap in coverage: Michelin goes from 285 and then jumps to a 325.

In a 20" rim though, tire sizing goes 285, 295, 305 and 315.

I've also heard good things of Continentals; they might have sizing which is more agreeable to your goals.

Is it normal to have a alignment done when your swapping tires? Dealer wants to charge for one? Car only has 3k miles im just swapping to the A/S tires?

The wear on the current tyres will give you a clue as to the current alignment, although as it can be affected by a pot hole on any day then it may be fine on the tyre but went out of alignment yesterday!

The most common problem on the Mustang is inner shoulder wear on the front tyres because of toe out settings from the factory. This provides extra steering sensitivity but for those who do high miles it also chews up the tyres.

Pays your money and takes your choice!

Ask the dealer why. It may be that itā€™s just a revenue generator or they may have noticed abnormal water on the old tyres. If they canā€™t give you a convincing answer then assume the former.

New tires are on. Is it normal for them to leave white grease all over the tires/wheel lip?

If people are considering all seasons, I don't know if they come in the Mustang sizing but the new Hankook Kinergy 4S2 (and 4S2X for SUVs) get great reviews. My dad had some fitted to his XC60 a few months ago. https://www.tyrereviews.com/Tyre/Hankook/Kinergy-4S2.htm and https://www.tyrereviews.com/Article/2022-Tyre-Reviews-All-Season-Tyre-Test.htm

I've kept my stock wheels and for winter I'm going to try the Hankook iCept Evo 3 (come in the 19" staggered fitment). https://www.tyrereviews.com/Tyre/Hankook/Winter-i-cept-evo3.htm

To me, when it's like 0-3C and a little damp, I kind of feel like the PS4Ss don't allow me to really go for it. I drive very cautiously in those conditions.
Usually anything sub 8ĀŗC (give or take) is when summer tyres begin to struggle as the compound begins to stiffen up. So I certainly wouldn't recommend really going at it near those freezing temperatures mentioned. The Bridgestone Potenza Sports I had fitted previously would break away without much warning at anything under 10ĀŗC.
