I replaced the stock sub with a JL Audio sub and amp and the sound improved tremendously. I would love to do more, but this makes me plenty happy for now. I did not have to sacrifice trunk space.

JL Audio HD 750/1 amp
AudioControl LC2I 2-Channel Line Out Converter and Sub Control

They fit into factory locations? Any pictures of the install?

Has anyone gotten any further info on replacing the head unit? I'd like to have an 8" screen but I don't want to give up the Recaro's.
