I have a 2016 GT with a Mach 1 front bumper from 777 Performance, I was wondering has anyone had a issue with the lower grille unclipping at high speeds, and what could I do to help hold the grille in place as a retainer?

Is it possible the lower grille is unclipping because of wind force deforming the splitter down? It kind of seems from your pic, that that may have occurred. If so, it may be that reinforcement and/or tie-ins to back structure may be required to keep the splitter pointed straight on instead of twisting down at speed. (There is a long, seemingly unsupported length across the front.)

Do you have a belly tray that attaches to the splitter like OE? If not get one from recycler along with the speed nuts and screws for splitter and fender liners along w screws for the cross members ask recycler to include them.

I do not, I the bumper had some pieces to connect to the belly pan but then I would need fender liners too as the last owner trimmed them

That could be the case, I’m not too sure as there wasn’t really any instructions with the bumper putting it together

You need the belly pan and the fender liners.....should be cheap from recyclers...

The bumper came with these pieces, I don’t know where they go at all on the bumper

Based on what you are showing, and what @S550HPP mentioned about belly pan attachment, it appears you may be missing parts from the former owner's modifications. Belly pan attachments provide some triangulation strength as well as attachment points to structure behind the splitter. Depending on where the former owner cut the fender liners, that may not be helping your situation.

It was about a quarter of the way up that the previous owner cut off, and in terms of those parts I have no idea where they go on the bumper, Triple Seven’s video didn’t mention them at all, and I don’t have the handling pack lip

It sounds like you'll need under pan parts and those are not cheap. Most of your rigidity will come from those pans behind the splitter. If I were in your shoes, I would be inclined to get specifics from 777 Performance's technical support folks.
As for the lower parts of the fender liners that the previous owner cut off I don't know how critical they are to your installation, but that said, Ford has a lot in interrelating geometry for a reason.

So from what I’ve heard those pieces go underneath the handling pack lip, that I don’t have because at the time I didn’t know I needed it

That is what it sounds like. I wonder that the former owner was doing. Maybe he had an accident and decided to not replace damaged parts...or had damage to the lower fender liner and decided to just cut off the ripped section??????

I believe a small part was cut out, but then when I had gotten a new set of wheels, the fitment wasn’t exactly right so it rubbed some of the liner away, so now that I’m able to replace the fender liners, I’m skeptical about getting a belly pan or an aftermarket ā€˜Handling Pack’ lip due to hearing that the lips are crap, and idk if a oem Mach 1 HP lip fits right

I have the Steeda Mach 1 style front bumper. It specifically states to use the non-PP GT belly pan. Does 777’s site say anything about which belly pan is compatible with their bumper?

It does say to use the non-PP GT belly pan, the issue was that at the time when I ordered the bumper, it didn’t come with the handling pack lip, nor did I know that I needed the lip to be able to connect the belly pan. I’m on the verge of ordering the same bumper from somewhere else because of the lower grille issue I’m having that I doubt getting the lip and a belly pan will fix
