I'm at just under 800 miles and I'm at 17.2 MPG (on the computer) for the 4th tank. I got 13.5 on the first 2 and 16.3 on the third. No interstate driving just state roads and one 2 miles bridge in Florida.
My first tank I got 14.5, second about 19 mpgs. 3rd had a little bit of idling and traffic...So between 16 and 17. I'm finishing up the 4th when I get home. It's all been varying rpms, my main focus has been to not cruise a constant speed or shift between 5th and 6th

Car is over 800 miles now and she feels great. I honestly think she's broken in. However I will wait till I'm over 1000 until I start driving normally.

Exhaust sounds definitely improves over time, but it still needs improvement. It's a mustang, it's supposed to draw attention with its exhaust note and be a little loud

5800 miles on mine I average around 18 that's about 60% city driving+ few minutes of warm up time. I saw a 2 mpg bump not sure why could be the new exhaust could be finally broken in but definitely saw a bump.

....what a nice car to drive. This Mustang is the most connected, most refined Mustang to date.

And I have owned at the very least 10 Mustangs consisting of GTs and Shelbys. As well as no less than 6 Corvettes.

After the drive home all I can say is I truly enjoyed the commute. Keep in mind my DD is a new F-250 Lariat with all the bells and whistles that more resembles my living room more than a truck.

Very comfortable cabin. The premium seats are the best. Perfect placement of the center console and shifter. Wish my left leg was longer but the clutch is a "10".

Switched the exhaust to Ford Racing exhaust so it sounds 'bad to the bone' but not overwhelming. Other than that that more performance than I need.

The audio system is nice. Could it be nicer? No doubt. Could the car cost more for a better audio system? No doubt. But most aren't that audio critical. BTW the sound system in the best Vette with Bose, blows! The Shaker blows the Bose away.

You guys waiting, you will be surprised. Ignore the whiners and nay-sayers. This new Mustang is the absolute best yet!:ford:

Nice job Ford. Keep it up!
SPOT ON! Ford killed it...:ford:

Took my Gt on its first road trip and running 75mph I got 23.7mpg with my 6 speed car with performance pack.

The shaker system beats the Bose system in the C6, but not the Bose/MyLink system in my C7.

It is subjective, but the C7 system is much more full and clean. This is especially true at volume levels below 75% where the shaker system is pretty weak. Once you get the volume up the shaker system starts to sound a bit better.

Its by no means terrible as others have said, but it is no award winner. That shouldn't be a surprise though, I think most people know Ford is shopping for an audio system provider upgrade to replace the sync system for the next gen.
