Ordered a "
398781 - AFE Magnum FLOW Pro DRY S Replacement Air Filter (15-19 GT, EcoBoost, V6)

from American Muscle, received it today. After I had ordered it, I found a review that I hadn't seen.
Said this filter will NOT fit a 2019 Mustang Ecoboost. Crap!! Sure enough when comparing the stock filter to the aFe,the lips was about a 16th larger. Tried to put it in, couldn't get the air box to close. Called AM for a return, they were very, very nice folks to deal with.
Called aFe and let them know, they said they would check this out. Why in the world would Ford change the size of it. Now I'm afraid to order any other brand.
Going to go to O'reilly tomorrow & see if a K & N that they stock will fit. Really wanted to try a dry filter. Have ran K & N filters forever, guess I'll go with it. Would lay odds that it will not fit either.
Just wanted you 2019 Eco owners to be aware. :(
