well i just realized playing with my traction control that if i press it once it says traction control off and if i press it again it turns it back on well that i knew obviously but if i press it twice rapidly it says traction sport mode and shows off im assuming this is some more lenient form of traction control am i right and what exactly does it control or change as oppose to just turning traction off on a 2015 5.0 auto

Default at every start-up:
- Traction Control On
- Stability Control On

Single tap: "Traction Control Off"
- Traction Control Off
- Stability Control On

Double Tap: "AdvancTrac Sport Mode"
- Traction Control Reduced
- Stability Control Reduced

Press & Hold: "AdvancTrac Off" (e.g. Track Mode)
- Traction Control Off
- Stability Control Off

AdvancTrac helps to maintain control of your vehicle on slippery surfaces using Traction Control and Stability Control by applying brakes to individual wheels and reducing engine power.

Traction control helps to avoid drive wheel spin and loss of traction.

Stability control helps avoid skids and lateral slides.

Yeah, I just want to add, I don't recommend driving your car at the track with AdvancTrac on (it will kill your brakes and performance), and I don't recommend driving your car on public roads with AdvancTrac off (it might save your ass that *one* time).
