Can anyone educate me on nitrous? I'm going to shoot for 1000rwhp. Thinking of adding a dry kit.

Are there certain brands to go with vs brands to stay away from?

Avg cost to fill a 15 lb bottle?

Will i need different tunes for e85 with and without nitrous?

Please help me with the idiots guide to what i need to know.

I'm having my motor built, will soon be running a 6060 trans, e85, fore triple pump fuel system, and some nitrous trying to hit 1000rwhp as an end goal.

If you are going dry kit, yes you will need different tunes. The computer needs to know how to adjust for the additional spray. I'm not sure how much rwhp the roush kits put out max, but you will be spraying a good amount of nitrous.

What injectors are you running?

Last I checked average around $4.50 a lb for nitrous.

I used to work for Nitrous Outlet, and worked with Nitrous Express.

I'm at 700rwhp now on 75mm pulley. I'm estimating I'll be around 850 once I install the fore fuel system, 69mm pulley, and tune for E85.

I'm running ID1000 injectors, but will likely will be going to ID1300 or 1700s soon.

You suggest I go with a wet kit?

I would look into a wet kit, that adds bars for a "direct" type setup.

Something like this...

With your tuning, in theory, keep the timing lower for a less powerful blower only pull but when spraying the timing is set to it's "max" for that setup.

In other words to simplify(timing and rwhp is just pulled from thin air).

Tune for blower only 16 degrees of timing and 850rwhp.
Tune for blower/nitrous without spraying and 10 degrees of timing 775rwhp
Tune for blower/nitrous with spraying and 10 degrees of timing 1000rwhp.

The nitrous outlet team can further explain it to you and your options.
