Hey guys!
I just joined the forum today and this is my first post. First off I just want to say how inspirational and knowledgable everyone is and how awesome mustang6g.com is!

I just bought a 15' ecoboost premium with ALL the bells and whistles except for the gps feature. Is there any way, whatsoever, for me to be able to add the gps feature to my car so my build is complete?

Welcome! Over in the Electronics sub-forum there are several threads relating to this. Here's one:

Short Answer: Not easily and not without great expense.

Yah I think it's a pain because of the computer/software.

I did get a bit of information about the CTA/BLIS package. The reason that isn't offered separately is that it needs the additional power amp that supplies the subwoofer. That's why that package is packaged like that according to a dealer I talked to.

My thing is, if it is possible, I would love to pay to have it, but I also don't know if i am ready to tear apart my console for me to attempt it, lol

Yup - well a few other things, but basically that. In the thread I posted they have directions to do it and it won't be for the faint of heart in tearing apart the inside of the car.

Where do you think i could find that module?
I'm just curious, why do you need navigation if you have a smart phone that can do the same thing and talk to you (and you can mount it up high if needed if you are one of those people that has to see the screen?)

That's a lot of money to have Nav installed afterwards.

Actually it is just an Apim swap.....nothing else. Only takes an hour or so.
