Heres your chance to go nuts.

long story short, I saw bird poop on the car, frantically ran inside the house, grabbed a spray, sprayed the spot, and wiped off the poop. Noticed some residue, hand-buffed it off. But now whenever the car gets dew from being out at night, that spot reacts differently to the water vapor. And the residue sometimes shows up.

Turns out, I used a home spray of All-Purpose cleaner. on the paint.
:frusty::frusty::frusty::frusty:

someone want to explain how bad this is (please keep it short) but more so what I can do to remedy this or if its not really a big deal. Im hoping ive just gotten rid of the wax layer if anything.

THanks!

give it a good wash and wax. Shouldn't have harmed the clear coat.

It's nothing to worry about. You probably just clean the wax off the paint with the cleaner. Just apply some wax.
