Accessing COTUS from Europe (Error 500)

It seems that all the COTUS sites have issues when accessing from some European countries.

These are the COTUS websites used to check production steps for your Mustang:

www.cotus.ford.com
www.cotusb.ford.com
wwwqa.cotus.ford.com

browsing to all three sites you will get the same error:

Error 500: org.springframework.web.util.NestedServletException: Request processing failed; nested exception is java.lang.StringIndexOutOfBoundsException

I found a workaround for that: you need to use an anonymous proxy to 'hide' the origin of request. I successfully used Anonymouse to access it:

Don't know why we should hide our country.. however you can use it this way

Also i can check that in ANDROID the browser that work with COTUS is FLASHFOX (that it is firefox beta) it runs smoothly and also you can take your windows sticker

So I'm trying to find my car now... Ford says it can't find it...

My EU chassis number should be prefixed with 1FA6P8 right? According to a Ford Mustang VIN decoder I found that just says Mustang... and I then add my 11 digit chassis number?

Here's the problem, my first bits are UH0G5...
U should really be E for convertible? (swapping doesn't work though)
H is the Ecoboost engine code...
0 is the check digit...
G unfortunately means it's a MY2016 :(
5 is for flatrock

and the rest are 6 sequential unit numbers...

Did everyone else get a chassisnumber that starts with A/C/E/F/T? I see the decoder makes no mention of Ecoboost convertible, that T is for the Coupe EB... Maybe A/E is the V6 and the T/U the Ecoboosts...? Not sure why they would have two codes for the engine though...

A bit frustrated now

When should I realistically expect to see my car show up in COTUS?

Anyone else ordered an Ecoboost convertible that can confirm it should be 1FA6P8U? (If I change the 6 to T I get a different error, instead of no vehicle it says no matching vehicle...)

My VIN starts TH2G5, i prefix it with 1FA6P8U in Etis and it displays as expected, Cotus returns an error (for now)

Right... I found it ETIS though - but I had to change the 1FA6 to 1FAT, apparently convertibles get knee instead of side airbags... ETIS has no build date though (or rather it says 30.11.0002). Maybe COTUS is having one of it's "bad" days... or maybe as said, it won't show up untill it gets a build date in the system...

I've been trying to look up VINs I found on edmunds.com but I get the same message about "A matching vehicle could not be determined. Please contact your dealer to get status updated about your order."

yes, you won't see it in cotus until a week before the blend date (or blend week, can't remember)

In addition to those two very useful pages:

The assumption that with a convertible you get 1FAT instead of 1FA6 is correct. This has to do with the difference in airbag systems between fastback and convertible.

Also not mentioned (yet) on the VIN decoder pages is the model code for EcoBoost Convertible: P8U

(I still feel like an idiot for spending so much on a car - but what can you do apart from move to Sweden )

Instead of decoding the VIN I would prefer some sort of access to VISTA and find out where heck our cars are ATM.
