It is weird how the cameras can't pick up CO.

Hey Ccul. Have you tried Karen Batt at Ford. She rushed the car on a boat from Zeebrugge when I contacted her.

So preparing to get the call to pick up the car, and the phone has just rung.

They are waiting for the part for the wiring loom recall and it will be a few days.......

But you can pick it up as long as you bring it back as soon as the parts arrive.

Do bears shit in the woods.

Can't believe they have just told me that after having had calls earlier about the car should be ready by lunchtime and the final amount owed.

Are you REALLY surprised that the left hand doesn't know what the right is doing?

I'm going to have to call my dealer and find out if mine needs this work done since they've not contacted me yet.

Plus, they only need a part if it's been damaged already and since yours will have minimal miles on it should be ok to just tie it up out the way. That was part of the official notice.

It's part of the loom that goes near the changed for rhd exhaust header. There was nothing on etis about mine when I last looked.

Battery positive cable is the important one as I understand it.

Booked mine in for Thursday

They just phoned, parts on back order, they don't think they will be in .
So booked it in for following week

The parts needed are literally foil tape and a couple of cable ties, but make sure you get it done as imagine the heartache you will end up having if it does cause damage :(
