A little help if you will

Hi everyone

I am having some major anxiety over here about a couple of things and I was hoping I could bend your ears on the matters.

First, I ordered my car 5/28 and it is STILL not coming up on the tracking site. Is this only happening to me? I have asked "Ford Service" here on the forum to check on it for me and she states the order has been received. Why the heck can I not track it?

Second, I originally ordered it guard metallic but have been agonizing that maybe I made the wrong decision. I just can not find enough "real world" shots of it to make the decision and the build & price shots are making me want to change even more as it looks extremely green in them. I have a black 2005 now and I've had a few black F150's and I have vowed to never get a black vehicle again and I think this guard color is just getting darker and darker every time I see it and its just not too far enough from black . Just too damn hard to keep beautiful (although I think black & chrome are the absolute best colors on the planet). Then, adding the fact that I opted for the performance package the black wheels are lost on that color. I have never been a fan of black wheels but I HATE aftermarket wheels because their build quality in not even close to factory rims. So I plan on trying out the black wheels for a bit to see if they grow on me. If they don't I will order the LE staggered wheels and swap the sneakers onto those rims.

Sorry for the rant but I need help deciding between silver and ruby red as I think guard has moved to 3'rd place in my book. Does anybody have any input between these colors? This will not be my primary vehicle, I also will be trading my 2012 F150 in on a ruby red 2015 F150 which makes me wonder if its dumb to have both the same color???

Congrats to all on your new mustangs and I hope you haven't had to obsess 1/2 as much as me lol. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Jaime, if Dacia/Tricia tells you something, you can rest assured it is fact. She is paid to be reliable and she's darn good at it.

As far as Color, I doubt you would be unhappy with Guard. Everyone who has seen it live has raved about it. But if you want to play it safe, choose a color that is available now on the dealer lots and play it safe.

Did you see the sunlight shots of the guard EB posted the other day? I think the name of the thread was "I ran into (and sat in) a 2015 Mustang" or something like that. I think guard will be the most interesting color for sure and I agree, the build and price is showing it being more green than it actually is. However, the ingot silver looks really dark on there compared to the photos I have seen. Don't trust the build and price color shades. As someone who has owned many sets of black wheels, I will say this. No, they will never stand out like chrome or machined AL but in person, the difference in finish or material as well as the way the shape catches light produces much more contrast than you get with a computer screen.

You guys bring up some good points. As of now I have decided to not change the order. My dealer says I can it if I want up to mid July so I will hold out for more pictures to surface. I really wanna keep guard so I hope some new pictures will do the trick.


I trust Tricia that's for sure I just wish there was a way to get my tracking to work.
