I find this very disturbing behavior. This person will end up in jail or the hospital. Either one is fine with me.

Obviously different views. Older social climates this is hilarious. Newer climate of people just don't have the same sense of humor. I'd be pissed if I ended up in the lake but laugh later. I usually laugh at jump scares anyway. I'd probably jump, laugh, and compliment the guy on his costume. Unfortunately more and more in media these days, people are sneaking up and actually killing people and that's NOT funny obviously. If it's meant in good fun, lighten up.
