If you want to boost 91 - you can use Torco (probably the best octane booster) OR put 2.5 gal of E85 with the rest of the tank filled with 91 which should get you 93. I do this for my RS.

Better yet keep your E85 tune because California E85 is consistently over 85 % EtOH. I do this for my Mustang

Use Torco to get here and E85 once you're here

Near Santa Monica we also have a station that sells VP 101 street blaze fuel. I run 94 octane here in Cali and I am near Santa Monica. I run 2 gallons of E85 and 2 gallons of VP101.

To the OP, this station has VP101 Street blaze..BTW you are going to be shocked at the price of fuel out here. Premium is running near $5 a gallon. Shit at that price might as well straight VP101 at $10 gallon.

11675 W Pico Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90064, this is the station I use.

Here is another station that also sells it near Brentwood also close to Santa Monica.

12037 San Vicente Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90049, this is also a Unocal station.

The issue with E85 on the 2015-2017 is you really can't go above E15 with issues. I know your car is modded so it may have the injector bandwith to run more E85 even without an E85 tune. My 2020 I can run up to 4 gallons before I start to see some issues mainly with cold start.

Also as Biggus mentioned. Cali has the best E85 in the country. If its not pure E85 it will be taxed like regular gasoline. Our E85 is closer to 105 octane than 100. Here is a chart that will get you to E21 but right at 93 octane.

I would bring a 5 gallon fuel jug with you to load up on VP101 after your fill up. Most Western states don't have 93 octane anymore. They have pretty much gone with the Cali model.

I am not a fan of octane boosters, or race fuel concentrate. They make a mess of the combustion chambers. Short term is fine but wouldn't use it all the time.

I live in AZ. I can only get 91.. I have a Roush P2 kit on my car and it works just fine on 91.. Roush says the tune is for 93 octane but they have told me 91 is just fine. 19,000 miles on two boosted cars running nothing but shitty AZ pump 91.

It probably won't hurt it over 1 tank. I've had it happen to mine before. I borrowed their truck and let them use my car and they filled it with 87. I just drove very carefully until the tank was drained and refilled with 93.
