Yes 100%. Every blower increases decel noises. no way around it. Totally normal.

I have active exhaust, h-pipe, and stage 2 Whipple. I feel each setting (quiet, normal, sport, track) is one setting louder. On decel, it pops and bangs every time. I love it, wife hates it.

active exhaust here with stock exhaust and normal mode ain't quiet no more. My wife also doesn't like how loud it is now....
