Hi guys,

I am looking to replace my stock 20" foundry wheels and really love the idea of the viper style wheels. I have seen one pic on a mustang and I thought it looked awesome.

The only information I could find was that one person said they were able to bolt the replica versions made for the chargers right onto the mustang as they were 5x115 and the pattern was so close that they bolted right on. Would there be any issues as far as safety/vibration if this could be done?

Here are the specs:

5x15
20x10"
Hub: 71.5
Backspacing: 6.21"
Offset +18

They can also be purchased in a 20x9" but I would prefer the 10"

Thoughts?

Thanks,

Todd

I wouldn't do it. You're going to put a lot of stress on the lugs since it's not an exact fit. Also the offset is super aggressive for a mustang. It's going to stick out quiet a bit from the fender. I've got 20x10 with a 45 offset and I'm almost flush.

What he ^^^ said, plus torquing the lug nut to the needed spec would likely promote cracking in that area since the pressure would not be in the center of the lug opening.

The two patterns are extremely close in size but should never be interchanged.
