I decided to build a pair of aluminum jack rails, and it was fairly easy. bought 2 pieces of 1.5 inch aluminum square tubing and layed out the bolt spacing. drilled the hole and bolted them on. The drivers side front 2 bolts were not in a straight line which I didn't catch in layout. Took a little slotting to fix, not sure if this was a one off or all cars are like this. In hind sight I think mabe 1.25 tubing would have been better as these hang below the pinch weld more than needed. Tubing was $45 and tax. tested by one jack centered and picked both right tires off ground. Still deciding weather to cap the ends or not. They weigh 8 pounds. Jim
Edit tubes are 60inch long

1/8 wall tubing, ya those caps are what I'm after. Have to watch because most are sized for thinner wall tubing. If I recall correctly this measured about 1.30, but wouldn't matter if real tight. Once there in doubt ever removing, thanks for link. Jim
