I've used PD for years, it can be Flat-->Glossy-->Textured-->Smooth.

This should inspire you to do what 'YOU' want to your car or freak you out!!.

Here are some examples of emblems & chrome I PDed on my Accord. When I get my Mustang I have a few plans for it as well.

Before PD

Emblem PDed while on car

Emblem off car

PDed Lots of mind changing going on but you'll get the idea, easy to remove.

Look close for all the changes

I plastidipped the 5.0 badges the first week I had mine. It is a close match to the spoiler and rocker panels, so looks factory. It is so easy and wears well so I see no issue at all with doing it, no matter how much you paid for your car.

Filling and painting? You do know NO paint job is as good as factory right? Id either plasti dip or get replacements in a different color, but screwing with the factory paint seems extreme....just my opinion.

Snip......
Why all the Honda emblems on your 6G? :D
I kid! I do find it funny though since I was about to pull the trigger on a V6 Accord about the time they announces/previewed the 2015 GT.

Only ones left on car had Pins...that picture was when I got home from lot. With in an hour I had the wheels, Accord & V6 emblem removed along with that Plate frame. And started the changing to my liking...Will be doing some things to the Mustang as well.

I thought about pulling off my 5.0 off the fenders and GT off the back and cover the holes with EcoBoost badges off the F-150. :D

Does the GT on rear have holes or is it just taped?

The paint jobs on these cars aren't that good. A reputable shop could do the job right, nobody should think it is a cheap deal though.

I'd still avoid repainting a brand new car just to remove some tiny badges. Plastidip them body color and they will blend in a lot and save the resale value in the car.

I am an old timer and back when I was a teenager (a long-long time ago),
chrome was cool and "still is". I have a GT Premium CO 401A 50 yr pk 3.55
NAV and am keeping all of the chrome that came on my car and even order
two chrome license plate holders from amazon.com. "I may date a Plain Jane
but I will never drive one".
